Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya's main objective is to provide quality primary education to disadvantaged girls living in challenging conditions. It aims to motivate parents/guardians to send their daughters to the Kasturba Gandhi Residential School. Special focus is given to girls aged 10 years and above who are out of school, especially those from nomadic communities. The priority for enrollment is given to 75% girls from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Minority communities, and 25% from families below the poverty line.
