List of District-wise Model Schools:

The Model Schools were established in the year 2011-12, with the plan to develop them as benchmarks. These schools are operational in all 201 development blocks across the state, aimed at providing suitable study facilities for talented students from rural areas.
Since the academic year 2016-17, a maximum of 100 seats have been allotted for each class. Admission to Class 9 is through an entrance test. Currently, classes from 9th to 12th are conducted in these schools.
